Energy

I am High-Energy

I’ve seen nuclear power plant construction in Vietnam.  I saw bio-mass energy generation stations in India.  I’ve seen coconut shells used as fuel in replacing coal in the Philippines.   I’ve even installed solar panels on a house in Northbrook – making it the Midwest’s first home powered entirely by solar power.

What I have not seen is a plan to lower energy costs here in Illinois, like the rest of the forward-thinking world is doing.

The future belongs to those economies with lower energy costs.  Labor costs can be high, healthcare costs can be high, but if energy costs are low, the economy can flourish.  The energy sector’s biggest growth is in renewable energy.  I will sponsor, lobby, and shepherd through legislation that makes Illinois energy competitive in cost and in growth.

Hire me to make this happen.
